How to repair an USB flash drive ?

The USB FLASH DRIVE contains two main parts, Controller and Nand Flash wafer,

bad blocks of Nand Flash wafer may occured during long time usage.

If unfortunally your USB FLASH DRIVE cannot play music or files well, or cannot detected

by computer. We may have to repair it.

Most of the problem can be repaired by Firmware, But how to find the right Firmware ?

here let me show you step by step:

1. Download or send me email to get software "Chipgenius" which can show you 

   the details controller and the ID of the Nand flash wafer

    

 2. When you get the controller and Nand Flash information, you can ask your 

     supplier or email me to get the right Firmware;

 3.  After you get the corresponding Firmware, you can insert the USB flash drive 

      into your computer then open the Firmware to repair it, different Firmware

      with similar way to repair the USB Flash drives;

 4.  If your USB flash drive cannot be detected by the computer, before using Firmware 

      to repair it, you need to do short circle to let it detected by the computer,

 5.   There are two way to repair the goods, for normal problem, we only need to use 

      High level format option, it only take few mins to repair it, if high level format cannot 

      repair it well, we have to use low level format option, this way will take abt 1~4hours for 

      8GB~64GB. After Firmware finish repairing, it will show green color on the screen, 

      then your USB flash drive are repaired, you can use it as new one.
